Elevate Your On-Screen Presence Week By Week This course has been designed to help actors truly GET SET READY. Each week we’ll be working towards getting you feeling fighting fit for walking on to that set. At Take One we think focus on acting technique and getting relaxed in front of the camera is PIVOTAL but just as importantly, alongside that it’s important to understand the language used on set, the protocol and the choreography of filming a scene with various shot sizes, continuity pressures and so on. This course is designed so that you walk on to a set feeling more confident than ever before. Who is this course suitable for? Actors who are pursuing a professional career in the industry. This course is not aimed at complete beginners but more for actors who want to work towards their goals of working in TV/Film so we do advise you have acting experience. Top quality footage recorded and sent from this workshop. We are very excited to have guest tutor Charles Venn joining us. Charles Venn is a multi Award Winning Actor of over twenty five years. His big break came when he auditioned for the role of Curtis Alexander on Sky One TV Drama, Dream Team (Hewlland International, Sky One). What originally started out as a two episode contract developed into a three year role filming 98 episodes. Charles has gone on to feature in numerous stage, television and film productions such as 'Bourne Ultimatum'(Universal Pictures), 'Batman The Dark Knight', 'Thick as Thieves with Morgan Freeman, Sharpe’s Peril with Sean Bean, Footballers Wives with Joan Collins, EastEnders, Musketeers, Miranda to name but a few. Charles is currently playing series regular Jacob Masters in the hit, Multi Bafta Award Winning Medical Drama, Casualty for which he received ‘Screen Nation’ Award for best TV Actor. Week 1: Technique Week Week 2: Recurring Drama with Charles Venn Week 3: Drama Week 4: Group scenes *Week 1, 3 + 4 taught by Take One co-founders and actors Daisy Clarke and Joe Hughes. *All prices are inclusive of VAT* *Please note: Payment for this course can be made in two instalments. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy for private lessons: Unless stated otherwise ALL private acting lessons require 48 hours notice for any rescheduling (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 48 hours noice is non-refundable due to scheduling. Cancellation policy for Casting/Agent workshops: Unless stated otherwise ALL workshops require 5 days (120 hours) notice for any refunds/credit. Anything less than 5 days (120 hours) notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the course/workshop. Cancellation policy for courses (Get Set Ready): Unless stated otherwise ALL courses require 7 days notice (168 hours) for all refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 7 days (168 hours) is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. Please note with all courses once you have signed up you're expected to attend all sessions. If you miss a session this cannot be credited/refunded. Cancellation policy for Weekly Acting for Screen Drop-in Classes: For all refunds/credit 72 hours notice is required (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 72 hours notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. Cancellation policy for ALL Director Workshops/Masterclasses: Please note Terms and conditions: Unless stated all Director workshops/masterclass require 7 days notice for any refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). By paying you agree to these terms. ALL Take One Memberships once purchased for the full fee of £25 are non-refundable and are active for 365 days. By paying you agree to these terms. *Please note* A £5 admin reversal fee will be charged for all refunds. Coupon codes are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. The code will expire 6 months after it is created and will no longer be redeemable. Once credits have been issued, they cannot be converted back into cash or refunded.
