Joi is an agent at Simon & How. About Joi: After graduating with a BA in Acting from ALRA North in 2014 Joi decided to pursue a career in Talent Management – and hasn't looked back! Joi spent over seven years at a well-established Manchester agency developing her skills, progressing from Assistant to Lead Agent, before joining Simon & How Associates in 2024 as maternity cover for Tabitha Porter. As a neurodivergent creative, Joi is passionate about championing individuality and advocating for talent from all backgrounds. Joi is ambitious, driven and dedicated to supporting actors, progressing careers and building strong, collaborative relationships across the industry. Joi is delighted to have recently joined the SHA team in a permanent capacity and can usually be found bouncing between London and Manchester bridging the artistic landscapes of my two favourite cities. What will this workshop involve? All Spotlights are sent in advance to Joi. In this workshop via ZOOM actors will be given the opportunity to perform any monologue or duologue of your own choice (sourced by yourself) to Joi who will then give direct feedback and advice to the actor and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions or simply use the time however you like to ask any questions on your material/ agent approach. A Reader will be provided by Take One. You will be given an individual time slot within the three hours (between 10-15 minutes) 17+ only *Please note it is recommended that you have a strong internet connection to get the most out of this workshop* *All prices are inclusive of VAT* *Please note the agent workshop is an educational workshop to gain advice from a top agent in the industry on representation approach/ industry advice*

Cancellation policy for Courses (Get Set Ready, All day Voiceover course): Unless stated otherwise ALL courses require 7 days notice (168 hours) for all refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 7 days (168 hours) is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. Please note with all courses once you have signed up you're expected to attend all sessions. If you miss a session this cannot be credited/refunded. By paying you agree to these terms. Cancellation policy for Weekly Acting for Screen Drop-in Classes: For all refunds/credit 72 hours notice is required (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 72 hours notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. By paying you agree to these terms. Cancellation policy for ALL Director Workshops/Masterclasses: Unless stated all Director workshops/masterclass require 7 days notice (168 hours) for any refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). By paying you agree to these terms. ALL Take One Memberships once purchased for the full fee of £25 are non-refundable and are active for 365 days. By paying you agree to these terms. *Please note* A £5 admin reversal fee will be charged for all refunds. Coupon codes are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.
