Lisa Gunning is a Director who has most recently directed episodes 4, 5 and 6 of Black Doves (Netflix/Sister Pictures) and prior to this Directed episodes 2, 4 and 5 of 'The Power' (Amazon Prime) About Lisa: Leaving University College London with a degree in English, Gunning started at The Whitehouse Post in Soho, London editing commercials for Wieden & Kennedy, 72 and Sunny and Mother. Work on Nike, Levis, Adidas, VW, and Guinness lead to numerous awards, including D&AD, AICP, and a Gold lion at Cannes. Went on to edit multiple BAFTA/BIFA/Golden Globe winning movies for Anthony Minghella, Martin McDonagh, John Madden, Lasse Hallstrolm and Sam Taylor-Johnson. These include ‘Seven Psychopaths’, ‘Salmon Fishing in the Yemen’ and ‘Nowhere Boy’. Wrote, directed and edited a multi award winning film for Goldfrapp based on five stories from their album 'Tales of Us'. The film streamed in over 400 cinemas worldwide. Moved to LA in 2017 and has since directed commercials for Amazon, Google, Ford, Subaru, Honda, Mini, OnStar, Barclays, Toyota, Walmart, American Airlines, HP and Corona. Directed episodes 2, 4 and 5 of 'The Power'. A global thriller based on the best selling book by Naomi Alderman, produced by Sister Pictures (Chernobyl) released on Amazon Prime in March 2023. Most recently directed episodes 4, 5, and 6 of Black Doves. A six part spy thriller for Netflix/Sister Pictures starring Kiera Knightly, Ben Whishaw, Sarah Lancashire and Tracey Ulman which was released Dec 5th 2024. What will this workshop involve? In this online masterclass you will be sent sides in advance. You will be paired up and perform live in your pairs, receiving direction and guidance from Lisa in a supportive group environment. Cancellation policy for Courses (Get Set Ready, All day Voiceover course): Unless stated otherwise ALL courses require 7 days notice (168 hours) for all refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 7 days (168 hours) is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. Please note with all courses once you have signed up you're expected to attend all sessions. If you miss a session this cannot be credited/refunded. By paying you agree to these terms. Cancellation policy for Weekly Acting for Screen Drop-in Classes: For all refunds/credit 72 hours notice is required (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 72 hours notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. By paying you agree to these terms. Cancellation policy for ALL Director Workshops/Masterclasses: Unless stated all Director workshops/masterclass require 7 days notice (168 hours) for any refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). By paying you agree to these terms. ALL Take One Memberships once purchased for the full fee of £25 are non-refundable and are active for 365 days. By paying you agree to these terms. *Please note* A £5 admin reversal fee will be charged for all refunds. Coupon codes are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.
