Service Description

Intro to V.O. - Technique, Industry Insight with a focus on Commercial & Video Game VO Abbie completed her professional Acting Training at ALRA (Academy of Live & Recorded Arts). Abbie’s professional credits include: BBC Radio Rep Company Member where she performed alongside Bill Nighy and Lenny Henry, also becoming a series regular in the award-winning BBC Radio 4 series of Home Front. More recently, Abbie has voiced BBC Book at Bedtime and commercials for Dyson, Vinted, Screwfix, Bumble, Maltesers and Google Chromebook, also voicing a main character in the video game Watchdogs: Legion (PS4/5, Xbox & PC). In 2021, Abbie launched V.O. Gym (Voice Over Coaching & Reel Production), helping actors navigate their way through this exciting, versatile and (sometimes) daunting side of the industry. Abbie also teaches Voice Over at numerous London Drama Schools. What will this workshop involve? This workshop will start with group voiceover warm-up techniques. The workshop will then dive into the world of Commercial Voiceover. You'll have the opportunity to practise various commercial scripts and learn about the 'business' side of Commercial Voiceover. The workshop will then introduce you to the world of Videogames and you'll get to practically explore the practice of voiceover within the videogames industry. The workshop will end with a Q&A which can explore anything from reels to tax.

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy for private lessons: Unless stated otherwise ALL private acting lessons require 24 hours notice for any rescheduling. Anything less than 24 hours noice is non-refundable due to scheduling. Cancellation policy for Casting/Agent workshops: Unless stated otherwise ALL workshops require 5 days (120 hours) notice for any refunds/credit. Anything less than 5 days (120 hours) notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the course/workshop. Cancellation policy for Weekly Acting for Screen Drop-in Classes: For all refunds/credit 48 hours notice is required. Anything less than 48 hours notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. Cancellation policy for ALL Director Workshops/Masterclasses: Please note Terms and conditions: Unless stated all Director workshops/masterclass require 7 days notice for any refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). By paying you agree to these terms. ALL Take One Memberships once purchased for the full fee of £25 are non-refundable and are active for 365 days.
