Service Description

Emma began her career in casting doing favours for her friends, casting independent short films, music videos and corporate gigs, an actor herself at the time she found herself getting immersed in the work and launching a new career path which combined her love for actors and her training as one. She went on to cast short film ‘The Snow Maze’ with RSA films (Ridley Scott Associates) which has since won best UK short at the London Film Festival, and went on to assist renowned casting director Carolyn McLeod on a series of independent feature films and projects for Netflix. Emma also assisted Casting Director Nancy Bishop in 2018’s NBC pilot season. Emma is now working in-house at the BBC in its continuing drama department where her work includes As Assistant: Holby City, Sister Boniface, The Canterville Ghost As Casting Director: Doctors & Father Brown. What will this workshop involve? This is an in person, group workshop where actors will be given a selection of sides to choose from to prepare for a mock audition which will be followed by direct feedback and guidance by Emma in a safe, supportive space. All performances will be filmed on top quality equipment with a digital copy of your performance sent following the workshop. Where is it taking place? Cancelation Policy

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy for private lessons: Unless stated otherwise ALL private acting lessons require 24 hours notice for any rescheduling. Anything less than 24 hours noice is non-refundable due to scheduling. Cancellation policy for workshops/group course: Unless stated otherwise ALL workshops require 5 days (120 hours) notice for any refunds/credit. Anything less than 5 days (120 hours) notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the course/workshop. ALL Take One Memberships once purchased for the full fee of £25 are non-refundable and are active for 365 days. By paying you agree to these terms. *Please note* A £5 admin reversal fee will be charged for all refunds.
