Joi is an agent at Simon & How. Joi graduated with a BA in Acting from ALRA North in 2014. She began her career in Talent Management in 2016 at a leading Manchester agency where she gained invaluable experience over seven years; progressing from Assistant to Agent before being promoted to Lead Agent in 2021. It was here she knew she’d found her calling. Joi recently stepped into her new role at Simon & How Associates as Maternity Cover for Agent Tabitha Porter managing a diverse list of actors across stage and screen. She is excited for this new challenge and to be bridging the creative landscapes of London and Manchester. As a neurodivergent professional, Joi is passionate about championing the individuality of artists and advocating for talent from all backgrounds. What will this workshop involve? All Spotlights are sent in advance to Joi. In this workshop via ZOOM actors will be given the opportunity to perform any monologue or duologue of your own choice (sourced by yourself) to Joi who will then give direct feedback and advice to the actor and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions or simply use the time however you like to ask any questions on your material/ agent approach. A Reader will be provided by Take One. You will be given an individual time slot within the three hours (between 10-15 minutes) 17+ only *Please note it is recommended that you have a strong internet connection to get the most out of this workshop* *All prices are inclusive of VAT*

Cancellation policy for Courses (Get Set Ready, All day Voiceover course): Unless stated otherwise ALL courses require 7 days notice (168 hours) for all refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 7 days (168 hours) is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. Please note with all courses once you have signed up you're expected to attend all sessions. If you miss a session this cannot be credited/refunded. By paying you agree to these terms. Cancellation policy for Weekly Acting for Screen Drop-in Classes: For all refunds/credit 72 hours notice is required (minus £5 admin fee). Anything less than 72 hours notice is non-refundable/cannot be re-credited due to the nature of the class. By paying you agree to these terms. Cancellation policy for ALL Director Workshops/Masterclasses: Unless stated all Director workshops/masterclass require 7 days notice (168 hours) for any refunds/credit (minus £5 admin fee). By paying you agree to these terms. ALL Take One Memberships once purchased for the full fee of £25 are non-refundable and are active for 365 days. By paying you agree to these terms. *Please note* A £5 admin reversal fee will be charged for all refunds. Coupon codes are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. The code will expire 6 months after it is created and will no longer be redeemable. Once credits have been issued, they cannot be converted back into cash or refunded.
